Native American Film Night


Location: Montgomery Auditorium, LaFortune Student Center

NASAND (Native American Students Association of Notre Dame) will host a free screening and discussion of Avatar. How do those blue people fit into a discussion of Native American topics? Come and find out!

NASAND film nights will always feature a film by a Native American or Indigenous film maker, or a film about a topic related to Native American cultural experieces. Films for the rest of the year are still TBD, but movies under consideration include Whale Rider, Smoke Signals, The Business of Fancydancing, Rabbit Proof Fence, and Barking Water.

This event is free and open to the public. The next NASAND film night is Wednesday, October 27, same time, same place! Check back for information on that night's film.
