Welcome
Native American Initiatives (NAI) at Notre Dame is designed to foster intellectual knowledge of and cultural appreciation for the Native American and Indigenous experience. NAI will collaborate with divisions and departments across campus to offer Native American programming that will enrich the campus. In 2011-12, we will host the inaugural University of Notre Dame Native American Speakers Series.

Fall Semester

Spring Semester
- Earl J. Waits (Wind River), U.S. Department of the Interior
- Joseph Marshall III (Sicangu Lakota), fiction and non-fiction author
- R. David Edmunds (Cherokee), historian
- Matthew Sakiestewa Gilbert (Hopi), historian
